Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Polari Group LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“Polari Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with our corporate website at polarigroup.com (the “Site”).
Polari Group builds applications for the LGBTQ+ community. Those applications — including Cruise — are separate products, each governed by its own privacy policy. This policy covers only the Site. For the privacy practices specific to Cruise, see thecruise.app/privacy.
1. Information We Collect
We have designed the Site to collect as little information as possible.
Information you choose to provide. The Site has no accounts, no sign-up, and no contact forms. The only way to share information with us through the Site is to email one of our published addresses. When you email us, we receive your email address, any name or other details you choose to include, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data, which may include your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you request, referring pages, and the date and time of each request. This data is a routine part of how the internet works and is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose technical problems.
Cookies and tracking. The Site does not use cookies. It does not use analytics, advertising, pixels, fingerprinting, session-replay, or any other tracking technology. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other websites or over time.
2. How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- respond to the emails and inquiries you send us;
- protect the Site and the public against fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never have, and we do not intend to. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the Site. Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes server log data on our behalf, and email sent to our published addresses is handled by a third-party email-delivery and forwarding provider. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request, or is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Polari Group, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Polari Group is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.
4. Data Retention
We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to address your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business and legal records, after which we delete or archive it. Server log data is retained for a limited period by our hosting provider in the ordinary course of operating the Site and is then deleted or aggregated.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled through the Site, including serving the Site exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limiting access to the email we receive. No website, however, and no method of transmitting or storing information, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Site is a corporate information website intended for a general business audience. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. Our applications carry their own age requirements and age-related policies, set out in their respective terms and privacy policies. If you believe a child has provided us information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Because the Site collects so little, in most cases we will hold little or no personal information about you.
Residents of California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request its deletion, to request correction of inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulations, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, and the right to data portability. Where we process information, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site and in responding to inquiries, or to comply with a legal obligation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@polarigroup.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. International Visitors
Polari Group is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, any information processed in connection with your visit will be handled in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
9. Links to Other Sites
The Site links to other websites, including thecruise.app and the websites of other Polari Group products and of third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page, and any material change will be reflected here. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
