Our name comes from Polari, the coded language gay men once used to find one another when finding each other was dangerous. We carry that spirit forward.

Respect, first
Every product begins with one question: does this respect the person using it? We design with restraint, clean surfaces, considered typography, nothing that shouts.

Privacy as foundation
Not a feature bolted on. Location data is fuzzed by default. We don't sell attention, and we never will. Our community has been a market long enough.
