What the App Is, and What It Is Not

The App is a game. You are shown a short, fictional situation and asked to call it Green Flag, Red Flag, or Dealbreaker, and you are then shown how a curated split landed and one line on why. It is provided for entertainment and social comparison.

Nothing in the App is advice. It is not psychological, medical, legal, or relationship counselling, it is not a diagnostic instrument, and it is not an assessment of you or of anyone you know. The results shown at the end of a session are playful labels drawn from that session’s answers and mean nothing beyond it. Do not rely on the App to make a decision about a real person or a real relationship. If something in your life needs help, speak to a qualified professional.

The scenarios are written by us. They are not accounts of real people, and any resemblance to a real person or situation is coincidental.

The Community Take

The percentages shown after each answer are a curated editorial split written by us. They are not live voting, not a poll, not a survey, and not a measurement of any population. The App labels them as curated wherever they appear, and you should not treat them as evidence of what anyone actually thinks.

No Account, and Your Progress

The App has no account, sign-in, or password, and no server holds your game. Your answers, progress and settings are stored on your device and are tied to it.

Because there is no account, we cannot verify ownership, transfer progress to a new device, or restore it if it is lost. Deleting the App, wiping the device, or losing it means the progress is gone permanently.

Party Mode and Conduct

Party mode connects your device directly to other devices on the same local network. You choose a display name that the other players can see. We do not host, moderate, record, or retain anything that happens in a party, and we have no ability to intervene in one.

You are responsible for how you behave toward the people you play with. Do not use party mode, or the display name you choose, to harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse anyone. If a game stops being fun for someone in the room, stop.

Mature Content

The App covers adult subject matter, and the After Dark deck addresses intimacy and consent in blunt though never graphic terms. It sits behind an age confirmation, and mature content can be turned off entirely in Settings. Confirming your age is a representation that you are 17 or older.

Some scenarios carry a content warning and are shown behind a veil you must choose to lift. Any scenario can be skipped without penalty, and any scenario can be reported, which hides it from your decks immediately.

Coins and In-Game Items

Coins, unlocked themes, unlocked decks, and other in-game items are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use a feature inside the App. They are not your property, have no monetary value, and cannot be bought, sold, traded, redeemed, or exchanged for anything outside the App.

We may add, change, or remove in-game items, their costs, and how they are earned at any time, and we may reset balances where necessary to fix an error or abuse.

Advertising

The App is free and supported by advertising. Some advertisements are shown as part of ordinary play; others are optional videos you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus. Nothing in the App is locked behind a video: every reward a video grants can also be reached with coins earned by playing, and declining one never costs you anything you already had. Advertisements are supplied by third parties, and we do not author, endorse, or control their content. Your advertising and tracking choices are described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You will not, and will not attempt to:

• modify, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the App, or use a cheat, automation tool, or modified client;
• interfere with party mode, spoof another player, or disrupt a game you are taking part in;
• generate fraudulent advertising impressions or clicks, or interfere with the delivery of advertising;
• reproduce, republish, or redistribute the scenarios or any other content of the App;
• use the App in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of anyone else; or
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or access to it.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, artwork, every scenario and explanation in it, and the Red Flag or Green Flag name and logo, is owned by Polari Group and protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any feature of it, at any time. Decks, scenarios, rewards, and in-game costs may change as the game is updated, and a scenario may be reworded or withdrawn. The App is provided on an as-available basis, and we do not guarantee it will be free of interruption or error. Party mode depends on your local network and on permissions granted on each device, and we do not guarantee that any two devices will connect.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT PROGRESS WILL BE PRESERVED, OR THAT PARTY MODE WILL CONNECT. NOTHING IN THE APP IS ADVICE, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY SCENARIO, EXPLANATION, PERCENTAGE, OR RESULT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLARI GROUP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROGRESS, IN-GAME ITEMS, OR DATA, OR FOR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE ABOUT ANY PERSON OR RELATIONSHIP, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$20).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Polari Group from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, your conduct toward other players, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims court will be the state and federal courts located in New Mexico.
