FameLife Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
FameLife has no accounts and no sign-in. Your career save, Hall of Fame, and local usage statistics stay on your device. Apple processes purchases and optional Game Center activity. If advertising is enabled, ad partners may process limited device and usage data — only after the applicable consent or privacy flow, and never for players who purchase FameLife+.
This Privacy Policy describes how Polari Group LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (“Polari Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information in connection with FameLife, our celebrity life-simulation game for iOS (the “App”). It covers only the App; our corporate website at polarigroup.com and our other products are governed by their own policies.
FameLife is designed to work without an account. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no game server: your gameplay data is stored on your device, and the App’s own game code does not upload it.
Information Stored on Your Device
FameLife stores the following on your device only: your character choices and career progress, virtual currency balance, purchase entitlement state, completed legacies (the Hall of Fame), an advertising age range (13–17 or 18+) that you select, and aggregate local usage statistics such as sessions, completed runs, releases, tours, and shares.
FameLife does not collect a birthdate. Character and stage names you enter are part of your local save and are not transmitted by FameLife’s game code — do not enter sensitive personal information as a character or stage name.
You can delete the local usage statistics at any time from the in-app Privacy & Support screen. Deleting the App removes the save, the Hall of Fame, and all other local data.
Purchases
Purchases in FameLife — FameLife+ and diamond packs — are processed and verified by Apple through StoreKit. We receive only the product and transaction status needed to unlock FameLife+ or credit diamonds. We never receive your payment-card number or Apple Account password. Apple’s handling of purchase data is described in Apple’s own privacy policy.
Game Center
If you choose to use Game Center, Apple manages your player identity. FameLife reports your Legacy Points to its leaderboard and reports earned Hall of Fame badges as achievements. Game Center is optional, is not used as a FameLife account sign-in, and does not replace the local save on your device.
Advertising and Consent
FameLife is supported by optional advertising. When live ads are configured, Google Mobile Ads and mediated partners — Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, ironSource, and Liftoff (Vungle) — may process advertising identifiers, coarse location, ad and product interactions, advertising data, and diagnostic or performance data for advertising, fraud prevention, and measurement.
- Where regional privacy law requires it, a consent form is presented before any ad is loaded, and your choice is honored.
- Players who select the 13–17 advertising age range receive teen treatment: non-personalized ads and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Players who select 18+ may be asked for tracking permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; declining never limits the App.
- FameLife+ disables FameLife’s in-game ad requests entirely.
We require service providers that receive data to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. You can revisit your ad privacy choices at any time from Manage Ad Privacy in the in-app Privacy & Support screen, and change tracking permission in iOS Settings where applicable.
Sharing and Ad Reports
FameLife creates share cards (for example, a career ending you want to show off) on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose a destination in Apple’s share sheet. Ad-report details likewise leave the App only when you choose to send them.
Age Eligibility
FameLife is a general-audience entertainment game for players age 13 and older. The advertising age-range choice changes privacy treatment only and never restricts gameplay. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it from the in-app Privacy & Support screen or remove the App. Apple retains purchase and Game Center records under its own policies. Advertising partners apply their own retention rules to the data they process.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the rights to access, correct, or delete it. Because FameLife keeps gameplay data on your device and has no accounts, in most cases we hold little or no personal information about you; the most effective controls are the in-app deletion option, your ad consent choices, and removing the App.
Residents of California have the rights provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know, delete, and correct. We do not sell personal information. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have the rights provided by the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulations, including access, erasure, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@polarigroup.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
International Use
Polari Group is based in the United States. If you use the App outside the United States, information processed by our service providers in connection with advertising or purchases may be handled in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page, and the in-app policy summary will be updated to match. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
